Breitling's Montbrillant series is named after the building on Ruelle Montbrillant in La Chaux-de-Fonds, which housed the brand's workshops from 1889 to 1979, and the goal is clear – to pay a well-deserved tribute to the brand's birthplace. For this purpose, the manufacturer manages to combine tradition and innovation in an impressive way, a balance that is enhanced by the complex dial and the multitude of functions the watch offers. The Montbrillant Olympus series was launched in 2006 and is one of the shortest-produced, as it remained in the production line for only about two years.
