This timepiece is the modern version of the incredible marine chronometers that have been made for decades, and is undoubtedly a watch that continues the tradition and flawlessly upholds its glorious heritage. The model was launched in 2018 and is the brand's most current model – it includes 5 modifications: blue, black, and three limited editions – Great White (a 300-piece series), Monaco (100 pieces), and the newest series presented today – Lemon Shark. Admirers of the brand know that over the years there have always been limited editions related to sharks – until now, they have always been based on the Maxi Marine. The current one continues the tradition but is specifically dedicated to one of the most interesting shark species – the Lemon Shark. These marine inhabitants use their yellow color to blend in with the sandy seabed, and thus attack their prey unnoticed. And to be entirely in unison with the name, the entire watch is executed with the use of yellow accents – a very good proposition for all who wish to stand out and draw attention to their wrist! The double anti-reflective coating is so effective that at certain angles, it creates the impression that you can touch the dial and hands with nothing to stop you. The other thing that is difficult to see from the photos is the satin-finished matte grey dial with white "droplets" – the finish is truly unique! From some angles, it creates the impression that the dial has its own radiance, scattering sunrays around; a similar illusion can be noticed while deep diving. The luminescence is very bright – thanks to its relatively large markers, the dial and hands remain legible even in the darkest conditions. During the day, the anti-reflective coating makes the dial very clear, and the date magnifier makes this indication recognizable with a quick glance. Ulysse Nardin makes no compromises with the case back of this model; after all, this is one of the brands with the most beautiful case backs. On this model, it is solid (another difference from the standard models), attached to the case with 6 visible screws – and depicted on it are 3 Lemon sharks in all their "beauty". The strap is textile and is made from recycled fishing nets – another fact that shows Ulysse Nardin's attitude towards the conservation of wildlife.
