Description
For the first time, we have the pleasure of presenting to your attention this interesting and new model for the brand. As most of you know, it is part of the series dedicated to the launch year of the brand's first diver – the iconic 7924, also called the “big crown,” and more precisely, in honor of the year it was released. Today's example, however, is very special – it is the only one with a 24-hour indicator. The model was first introduced in 2021 and immediately became sought-after and desired not only by fans of the brand but by watch collectors in general.
The model's sporting spirit is evident in everything – starting with the crown, which is ribbed and oversized, moving on to the design of the dial, whose color scheme uses only two colors – black and silver (with a yellow accent on the 24-hour hand), and finishing with the steel fixed bezel – all of this simply screams that this is no ordinary watch, and its kinship with its big brother, the Explorer II, is evident in many of these elements.
At its heart beats the brand's in-house MT 5652 movement, an automatic caliber with a 70-hour power reserve, 26 jewels, and operating at 28,800 vibrations – a COSC-certified chronometer.
