No other brand, except perhaps Rolex and Audemars Piguet, has such a loyal and constantly growing fan base as that of Panerai’s devoted followers. Perhaps the reason for this trend lies in the fact that this cult Italian brand enjoys an excellent reputation, offering high quality and unique design. Another reason is probably that Panerai, founded in Florence in 1860, was chosen as the official supplier to the Italian Navy as early as the beginning of the last century. We think that if someone wants a Panerai that is strong, in the most popular case size of 44 mm, beautifully made and produced entirely in-house, with enough “iron” presence and with the classic brand style featuring the crown-protection bridge, the Panerai PAM01312 is one of the right choices.
The watch is muscular enough with its 44 mm, but at the same time it is also very elegant thanks to its case combining polished and brushed steel, as well as the possibility to combine it with numerous variations of leather, rubber and metal straps. This watch is extremely comfortable, mainly because of its flat shape and the incredibly ergonomic, curved vintage lugs that embrace the wrist, while the superb illumination of the so-called sandwich dial makes you look at it frequently even in the dark.
