Longines Hydroconquest Chronograph 43mm

The Conquest collection has been designated by Longines as their offering for people who travel actively – we would even add “adventurers” – and includes watches that easily meet the main characteristics of so-called “traveller” watches, namely: sporty, water-resistant, equipped with additional functions (chronograph or GMT), and comfortable for everyday wear and use. The distinguishing features of the series are the redesigned pushers compared with previous generations, the enlarged “12” and “6” on the dial, and the high level of water resistance. The watch presented today belongs to the so-called “aquatic” branch of the collection, and for this reason its entire design and appearance are dedicated to this purpose. When creating it, the designers considered all the essential qualities that a watch of this class should possess. It is comfortable – thanks to its dimensions and the shape of the case, it sits very comfortably on your wrist. It is robust – the materials used and the high-quality steel make this watch highly resistant to everyday wear, while its water resistance allows it to be used in conditions more extreme than usual. It is functional – the case size, bezel and chronograph functions not only expand its practical capabilities but also contribute to a very elegant overall watch design. It is attractive – this is certainly a watch that will not go unnoticed. With its distinctive hands, massive bezel (which, in our opinion, is practically copied from the Seamaster) and the large “12” on the dial, it can become your faithful companion both on formal occasions and in everyday use. At the heart of the watch beats the Longines Calibre L688 (ETA A08.L01) – a high-quality automatic chronograph movement based on a proven architecture and distinguished by its reliability, precision and functionality.
