The watch presented to your attention is an automatic diver with a ceramic case and a rubber strap with a ceramic clasp, in the largest size for the series – 48 mm! The bezel is also ceramic, unidirectionally rotating, and all markings on it are integrated using the brand’s patented technology, consisting of recesses filled with a tungsten compound. The black carbon dial features luminous semi-skeletonised hands in a silver tone and applied hour markers, also with luminescence, which makes reading the indications very easy even in the absence of light. The minute markers are positioned on the sub-bezel around the outer edge of the dial, while the date window is at the “3 o’clock” position.
Automatic movement with a power reserve of over 42 hours, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, screw-down crown, solid caseback, water resistance of 300 m. The case diameter is 48 mm without the crown, the thickness is 18 mm, and the strap width at the lugs is 26 mm.
A mechanical listing of facts. And what exactly does this watch possess to deserve being positioned in the high price segment where it is found? Yes, it does not have the long history and popularity that a Submariner or Seamaster can boast, nor the mythological stories of a Fifty Fathoms or Radiomir, but it has several very important characteristics that allow it to become one of the cult watches in its class. First, quality – starting with the materials used, passing through the finishing of every detail and ending with the overall composition and the impression this watch leaves when examined, this characteristic leaves not a gram of doubt – this watch is not simply well made, it can confidently be placed among the best and most competently made watches in general. Second, its different appearance – this is one of its great advantages. The overall impression it creates is that, during the development of its design, the main task given to the designers was to try, in the most aesthetic way possible, to fit a circle into a hexagon and then round off the corners of the hexagon :-). Third, but not least, is the technology – the watch seems to be assembled from four separate layers: the lowest one, to which the caseback is screwed, together with the upper one, are clamped with the help of 4 bolts with sleeves, while the bezel is attached to the upper cover. In order for the contact between the bezel and the case to be tighter, a composite rubber gasket is used.
