BVLGARI Ladies Bvlgari with Mother of Pearl & Diamonds dial

Perhaps not many reading these lines know that the company's founder was a Greek – Sotirio Bulgari, who emigrated to Italy, where in 1884 he opened his first store in Rome. From that moment to the present day, the Bvlgari brand has inevitably established itself as a symbol of luxury, beauty, and quality. Bvlgari Bvlgari is a model with over 35 years of history. It was created by Gérald Genta in 1977 especially for the Italian brand. One of the most characteristic external features of the watch is the twice-engraved Bvlgari name around the bezel. The designer drew inspiration for this from ancient Roman coins, most of which also have texts inscribed along their edge. In this case, 18-karat rose gold is used for the production of the bezel, and the watch's crown is also crafted from the same material. The case of this timepiece is a very comfortable and at the same time modern size for ladies of 37 mm. Another characteristic that cannot go unnoticed is the way the Bvlgari Bvlgari plays with light. This is due to the mother-of-pearl used for the dial, which, however, in no way hinders the human eye, and the legibility is perfect even in lower light. The strap is of alligator leather in a beige color with a standard buckle. As we have already mentioned, the most noticeable feature in the design is the mother-of-pearl dial in an exquisite pearlescent color, which combines perfectly with the 12 high-quality diamonds at the hour markers, and for the entire composition to be completed in the best possible way, the crown is crowned with a cabochon-cut pink sapphire crystal. The closed case back of the watch does not allow us to enjoy the time-proven B77 (based on the ETA 2892-A2). The movement has a power reserve of 42 hours and 25 jewels.
